La ruta que corre de Ameca a Talpa de Allende en el estado de Jalisco tiene una longitud de 117 km y  es recorrida por mas de dos millones de personas al año, provenientes de los diferentes estados de la república. El gobierno de Jalisco dio su apoyo para que se invitara a un equipo internacional de arquitectos y diseñadores para proveer la infraestrcutura necesaria para el peregrinaje: servicios básicos, alojamientos, observatorios y santuarios.

La curaduría la llevaron a cabo: Dere Dellekamp y Tatiana Bilbao y la coordinación de proyectos Derek Dellekamp y Rozana Montiel. During this year and in parallel to our work as designers, we have made great efforts to set up a number of elements of a more intangible nature. These are a series of definitions, processes, tools and environments that seek to create an ideal platform for our work. They form the conceptual and operational framework in which our role as designers is held.

Years of experience have led us to the accurate conclusion that these operational phenomena, which apparently occur outside de design process, ultimately define it.

Metadesign (meta is the greek root for ¨beyond¨) is an emerging conceptual framework aimed at defining and creating social, economic and technical infrastructures in which new forms of collaborative design can take place. In other words: Metadesign focuses on defining the conditions under which design processes take place, which ultimately means designing design.

This framework has been the original inspiration that has informed the changes that have taken place recently in our studio. Although it is only the beginning, we hope that both our team, and our clients and friends begin to see the results of the work we have done beyond design.

This proyect consisted on designing an identity and packaging for a bakery specialized in gourmet brownies. The bussiness model is oriented to selling the brownies mainly as a gift and / or for special ocasions. We focused on creating a simple elegant package that would work  as a frame to show the rich texture and different toppings of the brownies.

Because these brownies are  baked after receiving the purchase order, the colours of the box where chosen to express both freshness and deepness of flavour.

We designed seasonal labels to seal the box and also link the product to the different seasons and celebrations throughout  the year.

The main label gives the product a touch of being expensive, but at the same time shows -through the bitten brownie, that you should eat them better than watch their perfection.

23 Sillas Mexicanas (23 méxican chairs) is a book proyect wich evolved from the exposition: Transit Cases, curated by Jimena Acosta and Emiliano Godoy.

The book, as well as the travelling exhibition, compiles the work of 23 mexican artists and designers. The book design seeks to frame the heterogenous styles that the design of the chairs represent. Packed within a rough cardboard cover, the book integrates to the transitory expression of the exhibition.

The project consisted in designing the environmental graphics for the maize exhibition at the Art and History Museum of Guanajuato. We developed more than 50 maps and infographies for the 300 m2 of the exhibition as well as the general layout. The project was commission by Museografica.

We developed an interface that moves freely over the desktop space. The webiste unfolds vertically and horizontally to present al the content branches. The layout is planned for significant growth as the site hosts new content.
